Doesn't it look delicious?!

Kason decided he needed to cook dinner while daddy was making some. So, he would walk around the kitchen demanding ingredients from me ...

"Um ... I need SUGAR!"
"I need 1 water!"

And at the end we got a questionably delicious soup - made by Kason! He's quite the chef ya know!

"Feel better, Dad?"

Kason always gets so concerned when Kameron isn't feeling well. The other day Kameron said his back and neck hurt so Kason hopped up on the bed and gave him a massage! It was pretty cute!!

Comfort is Key!

Our crazy son is ALWAYS sleeping in the weirdest positions. He'll wiggle around until he gets comfortable and then once he's comfy - he'll fall asleep that way.

This is one of his many "comfy positions"!

May 8-9

A couple weekends ago we went to Mesa for a couple days to go to a wedding reception and go to the temple.
It also happened to be the weekend after my birthday and the weekend of mother's day. So, I told Kameron that's all I wanted was a fun, relaxing weekend together.

We got a resort (off of priceline of course) and it was SO relaxing. There was hardly anybody there and it was so quiet and the grounds were beautiful. I wish I had taken pictures of them. There were fountains everywhere and lots of flowers. It was so nice!!

I didn't take many pictures but, these are the ones I did take...

this is Kason at the wedding reception. He loved running around with all the other kids there. And he really really wanted to jump in this fountain and go swimming!!

Photobucket

The reception was for Charlotte Hill, now Fairbanks. And my brother, Jeremy, took the pictures for the wedding!!! As soon as he's done with them, I'll have to post some. :D

Saturday morning Matt watched Kason for us so we could go to the temple together and then when we got back we swam and swam and swam! The weather was SO nice and the pool felt great!!!

Here is Kason relaxing ... I love these pictures!!

And no trip would be complete without a nap in the car!!

It was a GREAT weekend! We had a lot of fun and I'm glad I got to celebrate my birthday and mother's day with the two most important people in my life!! :D

Mother's Day

I feel so blessed today to be a mom. Especially to our wonderful son, Kason. He makes being a mom so fun and enjoyable.

I am grateful today, for my mom who raised me up in the church. I am grateful for all she put up with while raising me for 18 years. And I am grateful for her patience, caring attitude and genuine love for me.

I am thankful today to my Mother in Law for raising up her son to be such an amazing man. I am thankful that she raised him up in the church so that I could marry him for Eternity.

I am missing today, my Grandma Young, who was such a great example of service; always helping those in need without thinking twice about it. One day, I hope to have her attitude of service.

I am missing today, my Grandma Davies, who is such a sweet, sweet woman; always filled with concern for everyone around her.

I am grateful today for all of the women - all over the world - who have the hardest job in the world, MOTHERHOOD.

I am grateful today for all those women throughout my life who have ever comforted me, nurtured me, or taught me.

None of us would be who we are without Mothers.

Motherhood may not be easy but the good things definately outweigh the bad.

Motherhood is such a joy to me and today, we celebrate that blessing.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Cinco De Mayo Festival!

Last weekend the city had a festival at the park. There were carnival rides and booths. Yummy food and the Budweiser Clydesdales. We took Kason and he was SOOO excited about the horses and he loved watching all the crazy rides. The weather was perfect and it was exactly the way I wanted to spend the afternoon with my boys!!

Here are the horses. These horses were HUGE! I wouldn't want to get in their way!

And they were eached named, this one was 'Elite'

They even had the Budweiser Dalmation. He wasn't thrilled with the crowds though.

And THIS is how they roll! That's quite the horse trailer! I think they had ... 3 of them for all the horses!
Photobucket

Then we rode the carousel:

And, Kason got to ride this train all by himself!! He was so funny riding it, he just kind of sat there and watched everything as it went by. It was pretty funny.

See ... doesn't he looked THRILLED?!

Birthday...

Monday I turned 24!
For some reason it makes me feel OLD. Maybe it's because next year I will be a quarter of a century?? I don't know but, I definately feel older this year!

Anways - we didn't do much on my birthday. Got some pizza for dinner and ate chocolate cream pie. We'll be celebrating more this weeked - I'll post about that afterwards.

But, it was a good birthday. Kason was very well behaved all day (he made up for it yesterday though). And I felt very loved by all my family and friends! {thank you!}

Just the few pictures we took Monday.

Back to the simple life ...

{Kason & Matt relaxing on the EAC grass}

A couple weekends ago, we headed up to Thatcher to go to Spring Sing and see some friends up there.

It was SO nice to be back in a small, laid back town. I had gotten so used the hustle and bustle of living in a bigger city and had forgotten how relaxing life was when we lived in Thatcher. Being back really made me miss it!!

We got to see Cindy {hi, Cindy!!} and her family & Stephanie and her kiddos {thanks, Steph!}.

We ate at R&R {yummy!}.

We went to the Super Walmart. {I just couldn't stay away!! But, actually - they just have some shorts that I like getting for Kason that the Walmart here doesn't have. I really didn't miss it.}

We saw Spring Sing. {and our amazing son even took a nap during it!!!}

AND ... our old ward was having a dinner that night so we went to that and saw everybody from 4th Ward. It was so wonderful!!! I really miss that ward so, it was good to be back. In some ways, it felt like we never left!!

I enjoy the options and variety of Sierra Vista {ie: Target} but, I really miss the easy-going, laid back way of life in Thatcher!

I love these photos because it really shows the type of relationship Kason & Kameron have. They have so much fun together and they love to goof off. Kason really looks up to his dad and I am VERY grateful for the dad he has and the example he sets for Kason!
Here are my boys being goofy!
