Our Goofy Boy ...

Yesterday in church (which by the way was his last Sunday with us - next week = NURSERY!)

Anyways in Sacrament they were announcing some new callings and one of the guys stood up and then everyone sustained him. Well, Kason saw this so he stopped looking at the book he was reading and hurried to climb off the bench. Then he stood up all tall and raised his hand and then sat back down. It was SO hilarious - Kameron and I were trying so hard not to laugh out loud at him!!!

Then, in Relief Society I was sitting by the back door and Kason was playing with a couple other kids. And right when it got silent Kason knocks on the door. It was so loud and everyone turns around and looks at the door. All us mom's in the back corner were busting up laughing.

Kids are so hilarious - he sure keeps us laughing!!!!

Now going on 5!

Kameron and I had our 4 year anniversary on June 25th! I can't believe it's already been 4 years. It's amazing to look back on the past 4 years and see everything that we've done together. It's been a wonderful 4 years - and I can't wait for the rest of eternity (corny eh?) But, it's true - I'm so grateful I am able to be sealed to Kameron for ETERNITY! What an amazing blessing!! It kills me to see other couples get married and not reap the blessings of eternal marriage. Thank heavens for no "till death do you part" in this family!!!

I LOVE these girls! They are all so amazing! I miss 'em!!! And I'm so excited because come August 9th - we'll all be married! (Karilyn is the last to join the club!)

Photobucket

This picture is so special to me, this is a picture of our Sealer and his wife. Bud and Virginia Whipple are family friends and he does sealings at the Mesa Temple so we were able to have him seal us! It was pretty neat - this is taken at our luncheon after the ceremony! Such a neat old couple!

Photobucket

I know now that I would change somethings about our wedding day ESPECIALLY some of the pictures (I didn't get a picture with my dress train out or with my grandpa that was here from Utah ((sorry Grandpa)) or our rings) oh and I would have been on time!! I think I was 45 mintues late to take pictures the morning we got married (whoops!) But, everything else was perfect :o)

For our anniversary we went out to dinner - child free. That's always a treat!! Then I think we went to Walmart - exciting huh??

Well, I have LOTS more to post about so I'll get on it ASAP!

FINALLY!

We're back online! We got a new laptop Monday so we're finally able to be online on a regular basis, which I'm very excited about!

Now I have lots of catching up to do. And, I'm totally bummed but I lost about 3 1/2 years of pictures when our computer crashed - pretty devestating. Hopefully someone will know how to get them off - any computer pros??

So, once we get back into the groove of things I'll get some posts up!

Family Ties!

Photobucket
(this is a picture of my Grandma and Grandpa Young in La Habra CA in the 1970's)

June 14th we had a Young Family Reunion in Payson. (my mom's side of the family) So we were up there for the weekend to spend time with family. It was so good to see everyone! I really wish that I had gotten more pictures since we don't get together too often. I might have to steal some of Emily's when they get posted on her blog. Anyways - here are some pictures from the weekend ...

We took Kason to Christopher Creek and he was pretty intrigued by the rushing water!

Playing with a pinwheel during the family meeting *whoops!*

The Payson Library has an AWESOME children's room so we took Kason to see it and get out of the heat!

Swimming in the FREEZING Payson pool!

Modeling his Great-Grandpa's Cowboy hat. My grandpa was almost ALWAYS wearing a hat! That is one memory I have of him.

Photobucket

It was a fun weekend and I'm glad we were able to get together as a family. My mom did an AMAZING job planning it and getting everything taken care of!! It was a good relaxing weekend.

(ps: I just realized ALL my pictures are of Kason ... I think I have a few of other people, I might have to find them and post them along with the one's I snatch from Em.)

May: Week 5 (a little overdue!)

For Memorial Day we just stayed home, BBQ'ed some ribs and played outside. Kason went swimming in his little pool and had a blast.

Photobucket

I LOVE this picture! He's so goofy!

Photobucket

Then Tuesday we left for Payson and we TRAVELED the White Mountains.

We went to Payson, Jo City & Eagar.

In Payson we just hung out with my family, took Kason to the park and relaxed! The weather was so nice up there. That is one thing I miss about living up there!!
On the way there we stopped at Roosevelt and had a picnic and we walked out on the pier for Kason to see the fish. He thought they were pretty cool and we could tell he wanted to get in the water!!

In Jo City we visited Alicia, Danny & Lacy Deets. Kason and Lacy are exactly one month apart so it was a lot of fun to watch them play together!! They really took us out on the town (well, as much as can be done in Jo City!) We checked out Speedy's: you're all-in-one shop, Hansen's Auto Repair (Alicia even hooked us up with shirts - they're awesome), Mr. G's Pizza (yummy!) and Kason got to ride a horse. It was a fun few days and I was sad to leave! Thanks SOOOO much Danny and Alicia for being so great!! We miss you guys here!

He wasn't to sure about the horse:

He was happy as long as the horse was moving, as soon as it stopped he started crying:

He's such a typical boy, he would much rather play in the dirt:

Two peas in a pod - Lacy and Kason playing in rocks:

We didn't realize it at first but those rocks were actually asphalt so they were both covered in black. whoops!

Photobucket

After Jo City we drove to Eagar to see Rand and Karen Baker. On the way there we stopped in Snowflake because Kameron had never seen the Snowflake temple! So, we went to see that and then headed on to Eagar.

We went to Eagar because the Bakers were blessing their new daughter, Raegan. It was fun to see them too and see their new house (I'm so jealous!!). We spent lots of time at the park there and Kason loved it! Plus, I had to take Kameron to Buzz's since he'd never been! They have such yummy food! Thanks Rand and Karen for letting us stay with you and share your weekend with you guys!! We miss you too!

Kason absolutely LOVED this slide! We seriously went down it 50 times. He had so much fun!
