On a side note, Kason has an ear infection.
This is the first one he's ever had & it's really the first time he's been really sick. He's gotten colds before but, that's it. SO ... he's miserable. Poor kid.
He's a real grouch when he's this sick. I feel so bad for him, I know how much ear infections hurt.

And poor Kason. Neither of my kids have EVER had an ear infection.(knock on wood) I've been really lucky with that! I've had pretty healthy kids, which I'm really greatful for.
I've always wanted to know someone who won a give away!

Sorry about his ear infection, poor thing! Those things hurt!
Hopefully by today, he's already had enough amoxicillin in him that his ears don't hurt anymore, but as someone who had chronic, BAD ear infections as a kid (ruptured both eardrums on a plane when I was 2, ever since then OW they were bad and painful), one of the most soothing things is to lay the hurting ear down on a hot water bottle that is wrapped in a thin (like kitchen) towel. Especially at bedtime when putting your head down hurts, the warmth really makes it feel better.
But like I said, hopefully by now he doesn't need it anymore 'cause he is up and around and feeling BETTER!
